Curiosities of Bougival, part I !!!

Ok so another memory lane from my vault of older posts. I found me some additional pictures that should be in my blog, therefore, here they are, This is our wonderful Yvelines dept 78 , we moved about and decided for a couple of years my older boy wanted to have his birthdays celebrated in Bougival so there we went and now a family memory forever !! Let me tell you on the curiosities of Bougival, part I !!! Hope you enjoy it as I.

I am talking about Bougival  in department 78 Yvelines in the Île de France region, and in my belle France. Bougival is located east of Saint Germain en Laye and north of Versailles, not bad at all ! It is on the left bank of the Seine river and only 20 km from Paris. It is a hilly town, with only about 24 meters elevation by the levies of the river to as high as 110 meters by the train station. It ,also, has part of the forest domaniale of Louveciennes as part of the city limits.

Again on the trails and enjoying all my travels with the family. I will tell you about a place that even if we passed by and had my boys birthdays (Chez Clement closed now Le Coq de Bougival) done there along the Seine river, we really never took the walk to see it in depth. However, it is part of our trailblazing in my belle France. And now looking back without our dear late wife Martine, and Dad Elio , these memories feels huge, so nice to remember the good !!! As said we came here mostly for the restaurant and our celebration away from home, memories forever at Bougival,

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
