Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa  it is the source of the White Nile, the longest tributary of the Nile.  The Nile river with a length of about 6,700 km. It comes from the meeting of the White Nile and the Blue Nile. The surface area of 68,800 square kilometres (26,600 sq. mi) maximum depth of 84 m (276 ft.) and an average depth of 40 m (130 ft.). The White Nile rises at Lake Victoria (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania); the Blue Nile comes from Lake Tana (Ethiopia). I rode on jetski waverunner on Lake Victoria to the source of the White Nile Lake Victoria was simply amazing! Not enough words to describe it, you must visit it in your lifetime. Going to the source of the Nile was a thrill and bragging rights for a long time !!!

As I came during the southeast Asia Suzuki Cup football.soccer competition and Vietnam was playing Malaysia, the away game ended 2X2 with many good plays by Vietnam. The crowds in the area were huge with many congregating near the hotel on an endless rows of motos and scooters and even cars flag waving. And of course, me !! Eventually, Vietnam advance, I saw the game and the celebration from the Gartenstadt Restaurant 34 Dong Khoi Street,  drinking my favorite Krombacher pilsner German beer I drink at home !!! Memories forever.

My accommodations at Somerset Court, Ikoyi , Lagos, Nigeria .I stayed in a very nice compound, Osborne Foreshore Estates, very well protected as it is the home of many armed forces personnel. The place is at  Ikoji, one of the nicest districts of Lagos, very nice with all amenities including a pool, billiard room, bar, restaurant, sports TV all over, exercise room, and very friendly staff. Somerset Court is a top class luxury hotel situated at No 2, Asejire Close, Osborne Phase 1, Ikoyi, Lagos. It’s a favorite due to its proximity to a lot of business outlet and also Ikoyi Golf Club among other leisure centers.
