In my nostalgic saga of my family visits to wonderful places in my belle France, we found one sublime City, Take your time to visit Rouen, it is sublime to say the least and of course , a must to visit, The gorgeous city in the Seine-Maritime dept 76 of the region of Normandie. We have come here often many times, and glad to finally be back again, this time from the Morbihan breton ! . I have my wonderful memories with family visits to the baseball field and many exchanges with the owner father and son over the years. There have been fewer visits from the Morbihan but glad to be back to it this last week, the memories lingered forever, I like to tell you more of the Rouen Huskies baseball team of Rouen ,Hope you enjoy the post as I

As far as something you may not think is here, well I did came often and a regular supporter of the Rouen Huskies ,baseball champion of France, and heavy contenders for the European championships. The season starts usually late March, the field is the sports complex Saint Exupéry ,field or terrain Pierre Rolland, right by the hospital CHU Charles Nicolle.

The Rouen Baseball 76 is a baseball club founded in 1986. The Huskies play in Division 1 and home games are played at Terrain Pierre-Rolland in Rouen The reserve team plays in Division 2. the name chosen is the Huskies and as for the colors, the young leaders opt for the best in the world, those of the New York Yankees. White, navy stripes. The first throws take place on Ile Lacroix, but the balls fall too often and easy into the Seine river. The city/town hall offers a vacant lot, called the Planet, at the bottom of the St Exupery stadium. The charm operates, and this will now be pack territory, and the one I came to cheers many times while living in Versailles !!!

The Rouen Huskies are Champion of France: 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022. Winner of the Challenge de France: 2002, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2022. Finalist of the Challenge de France: 2003, 2005, 2019 and 2021, European Baseball Cup finalist: 2007.  Winner of the European Baseball Cup (group B): 2004, 2006. Confederation Cup winner: 2016, 2022, The trophy cabinet is also filling up with 10 Challenges de France, 4 European Cups (two B Champions Cups, 2 CEB European Cups).

The Rouen Huskies will know the summits in Europe by almost never leaving the European top 8. Biggest feats on the continental scene? 2007 with a title of vice European champion at An Marino. 2012 with a qualification in Italy still for the Final 4. The Huskies have already played six semi-finals of the European Cup of Champions! Joris Bert in 2007 becomes the first Frenchman in the history of baseball to be drafted by an MLB club, namely the Los Angeles Dodgers The field is developing (synthetic, tunnels, grandstand, club house, VIP area)… And since then 2022, Huskies TV now broadcasts Huskies games live on the web.
