I again found some older pictures in one cd rom of my vault, Of course, they need to be in my blog for you and me ,and the memories of past travels, I like to tell you about these litle towns of Normandy, off the beaten path but always in my road warrior trails Therefore, here is my take on this is Beuvron en Auge !!! The village of Beuvron-en-Auge is located in the department of Calvados no 14 in the Normandie region of my belle France. Last 2019 was named one of the most beautiful villages of France, The town sits about 30 km from Caen and Lisieux, and 14 km from Cabourg from where I came from on the D49.

Passing in my road warrior trails saw this house, and took a picture, It is a 15C manor located at the corner of the avenue de la Gare and the road D 49.

Beuvron-en-Auge was a duchy owned by the Harcourt family. There are only the ruins and the mound of the ducal castle. Other things to see with more time are the manor of the Hocquart dated from the 17-18C. The manoir Hogue dated from the 17C, more precisely 1660. The Saint-Martin Church built in 1642 on land belonging to the abbey of Bec-Hellouin (see post), Around 1920, the original bell tower in poor condition, was replaced by a brick in brick, You can see the neo-Gothic style Chapel of Clermont-en-Auge ; the construction of the chapel dates back to the 12C built by the Pushin family, sires from Clermont-en-Auge from the 12C until the French revolution.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
