I like to update this wonderful post on several shopping malls which I am now splitting individually because believe they are worthy of a post of their own in my blog, I will do updated text and links for you and me with the older pictures, As said, had the opportunity to lived in Curitiba , Paranà State of Brazil, way back for several months, and it was superb! I have several posts on the City in my blog, Therefore, let me get on it with shopping at Rua 24 Horas of Curitiba !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
The Rua 24-horas was inaugurated on September 11, 1991, it was the first street to provide 24-hour services in Brazil !. At the time of its opening, shops, bars and restaurants were open day and night non-stop. On my time in town it was a very popular place and hangout after work for me. The Rua 24 Horas is a gallery that connects Rua Visconde de Nácar and Rua Visconde do Rio streets, and located on the square area between Rua Comendador Araújo and Rua Emiliano Perneta streets, in the center of the city. It offers bars, restaurants and snack bars that serve breakfast meals to the last client. The street is not exactly a street, but a crossing as above. Over the years,it has consolidated itself as one of the main meeting points of Curitibanos (locals) ,and for the style and architecture also a point of reference and scenario for many photos of weddings, graduations, and memories of tourists. Throughout this time the street was also a meeting point at sporting events such as the World Cups, by the way, 2 world titles of the Brazilian National Team were celebrated there.

Rua 24 Horas is 116 meters long and was built in arc -shaped tubular metal structure. Two large clocks, one at each entrance are also attractions aside, as they mark the hours at 24 intervals, instead of 12. The structure is formed by 32 arches of tubular metal material, white, coated with glass. The entire ceiling is made of glass, and the structure of the gallery is white, which leaves the room very bright and with a feeling of open space. The street has gone through several phases and today it operates from 9h to 23h. Currently has 20 stores, from the most diverse segments, from restaurants and cafes to clothing, optics and electronics and computer stores, makeup and perfumery and gifts and souvenirs. starting point of the Turismo bus line, which runs through the main sights of the city.
