This was the administrative first town of us moving to theMorbihandept 56 and we have been many many times here and many many posts, However, why not tell you of our new find in historical Auray, We have seen many come and go here over the years and saw it first a while back until finally came in for a taste, Therefore, let me tell you on the Restaurant Le Midway of Auray !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.
The full name Restaurant Brasserie Pizzeria Le Midway is located at 2 Av. de l’Océan in Auray, You can come here off the express way N165 exit 34 to the roundpoint turn around dir Saint Goustan make the turn around as if you going back but the entrance is right there on the roundpoint itself can’t missed big letters, From home we take the back roads D768 and D765 to the same roundpoint and entrance, They still have no webpage, The deco of the restaurant is of industrial design in a brick building with a vast glass enclosure, big terrase with wooden floor ideal for sunny days.

We went and had a bottle of Bandolino rose Italian wine Donna Lorenza with a fish and chips dish and pizzas midway with sausages and chorizo, We did not had dessert but settle for a coffee expresso, all for 20 euros per person , good deal good food nice friendly service, we shall return.
The Le Midway opened last Tuesday October 3rd 2023 as a Brasserie, pizzeria, planchas after work , pizzas and hamburgers in or out. The couple Elsa and Camille Quillay have several years of restaurant experience first as season workers in the beach at Carnac. They, also worked on a restaurant in Locoal-Mendon and Don Camillo pizzeria in Vannes , had an experience in Australia for two years and came back to work at Bistrot des Halles, and l’Armorique in Saint-Goustan, both tried by yours truly.
