Thanks for following along my rambling and best wishes to all, And somehow I forgot to publish this post on time lol!! Hope you enjoy this post as I,

And yes all beginnings have an ending always sad but that is the way life treats us, I left my dear Spain after visiting places in my beloved Madrid and the towns of Castilla y Léon autonomous community of the kingdom of Spain, For a wrap up we visited from our rental house in Velliza, Madrid, Valladolid ,Tordesillas, Rueda, Medina del Campo, and Simancas, We made long walks all over the towns, and even took the metro in Madrid. This was another wonderful trip for us where all click and  back in Dec24 !!! My tour of Spain and Madrid came to an end this trip ,sad all these went so quickly

Our second and last day in Madrid we parked at the parking Paseo de la Reina Cristina no 24 garage, This is near Atocha trains/metro station, and your car is covered and guarded a few minutes from the center of Madrid to avoid traffic ,you must reserve your parking space , and ,also located in the southern part of Retiro Park Also, you can take the metro fMenéndez Pelayo on line 1

The Parclick on the parking paseo de la reina cristina, 24: https://parclick.com/parking-madrid/garaje-maria-cristina

The Paseo de la Reina Cristina is the segregation of the land of the Olivar de Atocha (olives field) carried out by creating a new avenue, named after Queen Cristina, tangentially drawn to the Basilica of Atocha and, then, already proposed as one of the main access roads to the city . In this urban operation, some historical and emblematic buildings of the city are located such as the Basilica of Our Lady of Atocha, Pantheon of Spain, and the Royal Tapestry Factory of Santa Bárbara , This street continues as the Paseo de la Infanta Isabel and later the Avenida de la Ciudad de Barcelona leading to Atocha train station.

The M-500 is a road from the Comunidad de Madrid whose journey passes through the city of Madrid. It is traditionally known as the Carretera de Castilla road. In the following decades, the section closest to the center of the capital would be transferred to the city of Madrid, being renowned as Avenida de Valladolid, while the farthest section of the N-VIa was transferred in 1986 to the comunidad de Madrid from the City of Madrid, which named it as M-500. Not until 1988, it doubled the capacity of the road with the first section between the Puente de los Franceses and the M-503 highway to Pozuelo de Alarcón. The second section, from the M-503 to the A-6 in El Plantio, was finally opened in 1991. including the new bridge that is next to the original road bridge, which was completed in 1990 as the improvement of the expansion of the M-30 beltroad, from the Puente de Segovia bridge to the Carretera de El Pardo road which with the reform of the Pasel del Marqués de Monistrol , currently disappeared by the underground of a part of the M-30.And why this well this is the road we took leaving Madrid the M500

From the parking on paseo de la reina cristina no 24 we left Madrid on the M500 as above first and then the Autovía del Noroeste A-6 is a highway that connects Madrid to the big cities in northwest Spain, It has a length of 590 km divided into 2 sections: From Madrid to Villalba at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama.and from Adanero to Coruña, This highway is entirely free apart from the section between Villalba and Adanero where it is paid because of the Sierra de Guadarrama tunnel of 3,345 meters and where it changes its name and becomes the AP-6. This we took on way down but going north we avoided the tolls of 14,30€,It enters and leave Madrid from the M-30 beltway where it extends the avenue del Arco de la Victoria.

In Labajos, we passed by the Hostal Restaurante Fuentes was a landmark we enjoy taking the picture ! The place is the classic road restaurant and also offers its services as a hostel. The town of Labajos is part of the Province of Segovia in the Autonomous community of Castilla y Léon,The town is located at km 95 of the N-6 road and has about 110 inhabitants ! Going out we left the City towards our rental house in Velliza leaving on the A6 but changing for toll free to the N-6 (previously N-VI), also officially known as the Carretera de La Coruña road, that joins slowly Madrid with La Coruña, crossing the populations ,just mentioning the ones we passed by Collado Villalba, Guadarrama, San Rafael, Villacastín, Labajos, Sanchidrián, Adanero, to connect with A6 at Arévalo ,Medina del Campo, Rueda and connect around Tordesillas with the A62 dir Valladolid but got off at the local VA 5804 towards Velliza to unload , reload ,rest and go my road warrior way home!

From Velliza home we took the A62 past Valladolid ,towards around Burgos where we took the AP 1 to around Vitoria Gasteiz to around Maltzaga Auzoa connecting with the A8 towards passing San Sebastian, Autopista del Cantabrico road , and paasing Hondarribia into the A63 in France towards Bordeaux, taking the rocade or beltway N230 to the A10 direction Paris , getting off by outside Niort to take the A83 , and then around La Roche sur Yon direction Nantes ,get around it on the beltway N844 to connect with the N165 dir Vannes and home, All 1096 km and 12h30 time with two stops for gas/petrol and Rex our dog,

There you go folks , another wonderful nostalgic, sentimental trip to my dear Spain, Madrid is always nostalgic sentimental words cannot describe it ! This is a vibrant cosmopolitan cities of friendly faces and smiles to share in long conversations about life and more ; I love it, And these places are part of my life forever ! We will be back here, eventually! Again, hope you enjoy this post from Velliza to our dear Morbihan breton of my belle France !!! as I
