Ok so we came to Madrid to see its wonderful monuments/museums etc , Do yourselves a favor and stop by the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and indulge on its architecture, history and sporting excellence, I have written a post on the Real Café Bernabeu, (see post) the temple. Sadly, due to the renovations of the new stadium this icon of Madrid was decided to be eliminated so sad indeed ,it will be missed, Many memorable moments with family and friends here over the years, I told about family times and friends of the Real Madrid CF ,in this post will tell you a nice story of friends coming over and even living in Madrid, Therefore, here is my take on the former Real Café Bernabeu of Madrid !!! Hope you enjoy the post as I.

The Real Café Bernabeu restaurant was located on the premises of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium itself and has 1,200 square meters of living space with stunning views from inside to the stadium! The Real Café Bernabeu sat overlooking the most famous football/soccer fields on earth, this trendy cocktail bar will appeal to those who live and breathe football or those who simply enjoy mixing with the beautiful people. Views of the stadium are exceptional, although it closes two hours before a game and doesn’t open until an hour after. The entrance is on gate no 30 on Avenida Concha Espina. Again, I will missed it,

The reason of this post on the former Real Café Bernabeu, Back in 2010, I was still active in social media travel sites, you name the biggest ones and I was there, As many in the forums liking my advise on travel, told me I should write a book or blog with all my knowledge, Humble, did not pay attention until one day, I came to Madrid as usual and decided to meet some expats living there Americans and English with some other visiting Americans, The conversation turn out many had blogs and suggested again for me to have one, One of the best friend, just saying a guy from Columbus Ohio USA suggested wordpress as was easy to manage for a non technical guy like me, Well thanks to him and them the rest is history ,My blog was born November 26, 2010, It has been a wonderful experience thanks to many of you, Paris 1972 because when living in Madrid visited Paris back then briefly like a round trip by train with a bunch of wild young ones like me,,,,Versailles 2003 because that is when I came permanently to live in France as French, The rest is history,,,,Thanks again to all readers and contacts of my blog.
The restaurant, surrounded by an immense glass and tapas bar, where you can enjoy a lighter meal. In a unique space for all kinds of events because it has several rooms and stunning views of the field/pitch. In it you will find a bar area, located on the ground floor , with capacity to accommodate 150 people. In it you can have a drink or a soda while listening to good music and enjoy a modern and exclusive atmosphere. And on the first floor (2nd fl US), it has an impressive glass of 80 meters that allows you to see the stands and the field/pitch, where diners can enjoy this privileged view, while having a cocktail, a snack or enjoying a delicious meal. The Real Café Bernabeu offered a carefully renovated traditional cuisine accompanied by an extensive wine list. In summer the terrace opens from 10h and is one of the best options for a drink in Madrid. There was valet service.

However, sadly for me, this is history already, The Santiago Bernabéu stadium lost one of its most prestigious and privileged premises, the Real Café, and instead will arrive a new restaurant of the prestigious chef Martín Berasategui. It will have two floors. The street level will be formed as a bar of tapas and cocktails. In the upper floor, a huge living room will be located, with a 40-meter window with the best views inside the Santiago Bernabéu. This new restaurant will replace Real Café and will have the same location, at Puerta or door 30 of the stadium, which is accessed from the Avenida de Concha Espina. The chef Martín Berasategui one of the best chefs in the world, as already with 8 Michelin stars in his so far three restaurants. This “Bal By Martín Berasategui” will be his local room, and the first in Madrid.
