Hope you enjoy the post as I

The Church of Saint Pierre au Marais is of course, dedicated to Saint Peter, and was built from the 12C to the 17C, at the hinges of the Romanesque and Gothic Angevin styles. The church was constructed of limestone and white stone. It features a Romanesque portal, a Plantagenet-style nave, a small 14C lateral chapel, two Renaissance chapels, etc. Its bell tower has a slightly twisted polygonal arrow with a height of 69 meters. The roof of  the church is impressive, with long-shaped roofs, as well as an arrow and a polygonal dome of the most beautiful effect. The great facade of Tufa was rebuilt after its collapse in 1674 in the Classical style.

The Church Saint Pierre au Marais was the subject of several restoration campaigns. A facade rebuilt in the 17C hides a Gothic Plantagenet building that has kept the right brace a Romanesque door to the beautiful covings. Embedded in the square of the same name between the splendid mansions dating from the 16C to 20C. It lost its original portal in 1674 when lightning felled on it and was rebuilt in Counter-Reformation style. It features a superb Plantagenet vault, from the 15C stalls to the sculpted figures, but above all a magnificent series of 16C tapestries that trace the life of Saint Peter and Saint Florent. On Saturday morning, the regional product market animates the area. In the entrance inside the Church, you can admired in front of the beautiful staircase to reach the floor as well as the vaults and keys of vaults of the ceiling.  A beautiful liturgical furniture, remarkable sculptures, numerous paintings as well as colorful stained glass windows.
