My hotels in Lisbon !!!

Well looking back of my travels and posts in my blog I realise that have bits and pieces of hotels I stayed while visiting Lisbon,It is an exciting city full of life and happy friendly folks always willing to help with directions, food choices, and just had a good time there I took them from many to create this post on my hotels in Lisbon !! In my early trips to the City, I stayed at the wonderful modern, clean and perfect location Hotel Exe Parque Lisboa , at Largo Andaluz 13, near metro stops Picoas , Marques de Pompal or Parque.The rooms were spacious, bath too, the views on the 2fl a bit obstructed by the nearby buildings but for the location, services can’t be beaten. right off the marques de Pompal monument and the superb avenida da Libertade. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will no doubt have no problems staying there again.

My next wonderful memorable hotel stayed was at the Marriott Lisbon at Avenida dos Combatentes, nice spacious hotel if a bit out of the city center. The Marriott put me on the 15th floor with a great view of the city. The shortcomings was far from center and the bar right in the lobby and smallist. The rest was perfect, with great service, spacious rooms and baths, nice outdoor pool with terrace, nice restaurant, and very modern facilities.

I did bounce from the Marriott to the Exe Parque on subsequent trips ,sometimes coming in to one and leaving from the other as needed to visit other cities such as Coimbra and Porto,

My last hotel experience in Lisbon took me to tried another hotel. The anecdote here is that it was fun at the end. The hotel was the Radisson Blu at Campo Grande; nearest the airport, just wonderful facilities, great service, excellent food. I had missed my flight due to the connection arriving late so needed to stay an extra night in Lisbon (nice after all), and got me booked this hotel. Memorable moment and welcome was awesome.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
