The Euralille Shopping Center (mall) of Lille !!!

Again,the story continues, It took me a while , worse when you have family about an hour from the city. When in the area stay with family and this time again,however, did it in reverse order, when to see Lille and its sights, (stay tune for posts), and then went to see family. Of all this one is the most sentimental as still have a post of our first trip here with the whole family, happier times indeed and glad to be back with my 3 boys, Therefore, let me tell you about the Westfield Euralille Shopping Center (mall) !!! First, the Euralille is a business district, and the territory developed by the cities of Lille and La Madeleine. In Lille, the territory extends over the Lille districts of Lille-Centre, Saint-Maurice Pellevoisin, Lille-Moulins and Fives, up to the Porte de Valenciennes. The Euralille district was inaugurated in 1994, after the arrival of the LGV Nord train line in the city. Today it is the third business district in France after La Défense and Lyon-La Part-Dieu.

Then, you have the wonderful superbe Westfield Euralille shopping center (mall), located between the two train stations of Lille-Europe and Lille-Flandres (see posts), official address is at 100 avenue Willy Brandt, The shopping center is made up of a Carrefour hypermarket as well as 120 shops and restaurants. One of the largest shopping centers in France.

.Thanks to the proximity of the two train stations, Euralille is served by line 1, line 2 of the Lille metro, line R, line T of the Lille tramway, the lines of the TER Hauts-de-France, as well as the TGV, Thalys and Eurostar. The shopping center is also accessible by car with its underground parking lot with 3,000 spaces.Awesome !!

With a commercial area of 66,500 m2, the shopping center is composed of a basement, a ground floor and two upper floors. The shopping center is accessible via the footbridge above the Lille-Flandres train station, on the first floor, It is shaped like a boat. The Euralille shopping center is open every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from 9h to 20h30.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
