My time in Ngoro !!

So again going over my wonderful memories of visiting Indonesia, This town is special as my company branch was base there and visited several times for several years. I take you back again to exotic Indonesia and the town of Ngoro. Hope you enjoy the post as I,

Coming here was first by the airport of Surabaya, Juanda airport, Several posts written on this town and airport in my blog, I should jump ahead to Ngoro !   Of course, I stayed in a hotel in Surabaya too (see posts)

Ngoro is located on Kabupaten Pacitan, Provinsi Jawa Timur, 28 km from Provinsi Jawa Timur. You can to look around. About 19 km you have the Museum Trowulan, Temple Tychus, and Temple Bhajan Ratu.

For further sightseeing in this area two places that were recommended to me if indeed more time were the Jedong Temple  a sort of gate temple, in the shape of Paduraksan, a type of gate which its roof merged.  More on a East Java site: https://www.eastjava.com/books/majapahit/html/jedong_temple.html

And the volcano. They are located halfway between the city of Surabaya and Kawah Ijen, Mount Bromo  whose name probably comes from a deformation of the name of the Hindu god Brahma  is one of the most known and most frequented in this region of Southeast Asia. Mount Bromo is located in the Tengger Caldera and shares the landscape with Mount Batok and the towering Mount Semeru, the region’s highest point at 3676 meters above sea level. These three volcanoes are part of the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park, which is also home to lakes and rivers, as well as extraordinary endemic flora and fauna. We came by here several times for lunch ,the Ayam/Ikan Bakar Me Joyo , a mixture of Indonesian and Chinese cuisine that was very good. Unfortunately, cannot confirm if still open.

The easy ride to Ngoro, passing by the great Volcano on the horizon as above, nice view but its active so nice to have it dormant every time I visited !!! always memorable  business trips to Ngoro Industrial Park in nearby Mojokerto (see post).  If interested for what is there, Webpage: https://www.intiland.com/en/industrial/mojokerto/ngoro-industrial-park/

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
