The MediaMarkt we like to go most is located at Plaza del Carmen 2 Centro Madrid, It is the largest in the country in urban zone. In his commitment to place itself in one of the most commercial areas of the city, It joins other technology firms and premises present in the gold mile of consumer electronics in Spain. The premises has 2,500 square meters distributed on two floors, in which a greater closeness with the client and their needs will be sought. 35 screens of various formats, distributed throughout the space, project the information of the products and services they offer. In addition, special areas have been installed to test and manipulate electronic products, becoming the most digital and experiential store in the chain, They are part of the the German group Ceconomy, and includes Saturn, Redcoon and Mediamarkt, Ceconomy AG was born on July 12, 2017 when the consumer electronics division and the Metro AG retail division separated into two different companies.

The candies La Violeta were already known by King Alfonso XIII but, it was not only the taste of candies that captivated Alfonso XIII and many other renowned people, writers, politicians, actors …, but their presentation. Because this sweet is designed in a way that reproduces the violet flower, so that it becomes a present not only original because They had more and more demand not many know that Don Jacinto Benavente was one of our most unconditional addicts. In fact, the Nobel Prize for Literature rarely stopped buying a box of 100 grams of our famous candies when he went to his daily visit to Café El Gato Negro. And neither many know that Victoria Eugenia chose our store as one of his favorites in his Queen’s time. Subsequently they would continue to be fond of our product Don Juan and Mrs. Mercedes since their exile in Estoril, Text taken from their site, store at Plaza de Canalejas. The Galeria Canalejas Gallery is the new international luxury icon and gastronomy in the heart of Madrid fashion, luxury and gastronomy they combine, along with the history of the seven monumental buildings on which it is located and its privileged location in the center of the city, In the same contemporary and unique space, more than forty fashion firms, high jewelry, perfumery and accessories, of the most prestigious firms in the world, and a Food Hall with more than 13 restaurants of different specialties and nationalities, among which are recognized Michelin stars. The Canalejas Madrid Center (CCM), which joins seven historical buildings , hosts, in addition to the Galeria Canalejas, the first Four Seasons hotel in Spain, 22 branded residences, and a new parking lot with more of 400 spaces with direct access to both the gallery and the hotel. Between the streets of Alcalá, Sevilla, Plaza de Canalejas and Carrera de San Jerónimo. In 1887 the New York insurer The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States commissioned the construction of its Madrid headquarters at the intersection of Sevilla and Alcalá streets. Known as the Palacio de la Equitativa, this building also housed homes, the old Casino de Madrid and businesses such as the recognized Sainz jewelry, On June 1, 1902 , the American Hispanic Bank more than a century later, its sculptural facade of neorrena -school and neo -baroque styles looks carefully restored as the main entrance of Galeria Canalejas at No 1 of the Plaza Canalejas. On May 6, 1922, the headquarters of the Spanish Credit Bank in the presence of King Alfonso XIII, opened, In Janauray 1942, was inaugurated in the Palacio de la Equitativa., Banco Zaragozano opened the doors of its new headquarters at Calle de Alcalà 10 . On the facade, the extraordinary frieze in relief and the amazing wrough iron Art Deco stand out. At present, these elements delight visitors again as entrance hall to Galeria Canalejas. In 1999, the Hispanic Central Bank , former American Hispanic Bank and the Santander Bank, owner of the Spanish Credit Bank, merged into a bank operation as the union of its main headquarters. In this way, the conglomerate of the Hispanic central with the Equitable Palace is connected internally. In 2012, the OHL – currently OHLA Canalejas Madrid Group that includes, in addition to the three plants occupied by Canalejas Gallery, the first Four Seasons hotel, In 2020 the first boutique opens its doors in the same place and with the same vocation as 130 years ago to occupy that mythical Sainz jewelry in the Palacio de la Equitativa, A total of 8,000 square meters of facades and more than 17,000 historical pieces have been restored by Canalejas Madrid Center through handmade techniques, some almost extinguished and now used again for the laborious rehabilitation of every detail. Among them, they include: the imposing Art Deco stained glass, which presided over the operating courtyard of Banco Zaragozano (1942) and that today crowns the main atrium of Canalejas gallery; The original marble floors and marble counters of the Spanish Credit Bank (1922), which today continue to provide their service restored in some of the boutiques; lattices; railings; frises and capitals. Special mention deserve the spectacular battleships of the safety boxes that have been rescued from the underground of those banks, removed and exposed in Canalejas gallery for all their visitors. Indeed a beautiful building and architecturally and historically awesome worth the detour,
