Shopping in Valladolid !!!

We were back to my dear Spain again !! love it !! We came by car of course and took time to see old repeat with my sons and our dog Rex ! I rented a small house in a off the beaten path country town that was just perfect ! I like to continue the saga of our new road warrior experiences even if now with less in our family,This post is on my latest road warrior tour of wonderful sublime Spain. The town of Valladolid is in the province of Valladolid, in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y Léon , in the kingdom of Spain, Only 25 km from our rental house in Velliza and 214 km from Madrid, We came back again,and of course looking for gas diesel this time, found me a nice service station off the A62 as well as a shopping center we passed by before and gladly stop by this time, This is again our newest find in my dear Spain.

Just off of it we found our gas service station, DST Rio Shopping gas station at Calle Ramon y Cajal in the limits of the town of Zaratàn right off the A62 highway exit/salida 125 in the shopping center area only 19 km from our rental house and 8 km from Valladolid on our way back home !It was the cheapest gas prices in all the trip at 1,369 per liter diesel !!! (about 5,58 USD per US gallon ,,) In addition to a friendly service in very cold -2C (about 28F) weather, and voilà again no picture yikes!  We had notice this mall off the ups and downs on the A62 and while looking for a gas service station we came by it so voilà we went for a taste, The Rio Shopping CC (mall) is located in Me falta un Tornillo, 3 in the limits of the town of Arroyo de la Encomienda , off the A62 highway,exit/salida 128 very near 9 km from Valladolid on the outskirts so will have it as Valladolid, RÍO Shopping is unique in Castilla y León with more than 120 stores. A large cinema with 1,500 seats spread over 10 rooms with the latest image and sound technologies. It has a children’s RIO area where parents can leave children in a totally free way during the first two hours of stay in the mall. It is a wonderful place good for the whole family and a break from our road warrior routines.

Of course, we did some serious shopping ! I got myself some clothing at the Primark store in the mall, and my sons got their browsing at Games and Media Markt stores, And we walked the entire mall ,nice ambiance, as said, we will be back, eventually,

While in the mall, we got hungry and rather than go into town to find something I saw this Brazilian style restaurant and found a good opportunity to introduce my sons for something I have tried many times for many years, the Brazilian rodizio or churrasqueria, We found Brasayleña ,a Brazilian rodizio chain, roasted meat restaurants with the best quality and price that can be found in the region. It is a restaurant concept where you can eat meats and garrisons unlimited for a fixed price (we took the 23,95€ Menu Amazonia including drinks). Among its variety it has beef, chicken, pork, veal and different combinations. Accompany the cuts with succulent garrisons such as puree of potatoes, corn, tropical salads, rice, beans, fried banana … In addition, there is a large section of cocktails, which highlights Brazilian native drinks: Caipirinha (yes), Brazilian sangria or caipiroska among others. The exotic and tropical of Brazil is also reflected in its desserts, among them, the famous roasted pineapple with coconut ice cream, the maracuyá cake or the chocolate explosion. In all a great experience with plenty to eat, good friendly service and clean facilities, one for the record to be back eventually.

Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
