Memorable Footsie’s of Paris !!!

The Intercontinetal Hotels of France will be always memorable moments in my career and in my eternal Paris to boot ! This was a great moment in my life as we had all the family together and had a blast, Memories that are still intact as well as the friendship of those collegues from yesteryear still in touch, I found me a memorable paper picture that should be in my blog and the reason of this post, Let me tell you briefly on the faboulous bar resto Footsie’s of Paris ! Hope you enjoy it as I.

Footsie’s ,10-12 ,rue Daunou, 2éme arrondissement of Paris was open from  12h to 16h then 18h to 02h and 04h on weekends ! at metro Opera line 3,7,8 . Walking distance from the Opéra Garnier. One of my most hangouts after work, happy hour, and business meeting! love it and unfortunately it is closed. We used to even hold Finance service meetings here with all the managers of the hotels in France !! Our boss CFO was/is nice to do this unique event, It was and still feels like a blast of fresh air, Another memorable spot in my eternal Paris.

Suffice it to say that when you entered this unusual place, you’ll think you’re at the Stock Exchange! It’s a fun bar where each drink is rated: it’s up to you to monitor the plasma screen which indicates when your choice of drink is the cheapest and when the time comes, everyone takes your orders! Beware of stock market crashes, they regularly fall in the evening. It’s funny, to do with friends on a leisurely evening. Fully friendly atmosphere, heterogeneous clientele for this authentic pub with its rich woodwork and high ceilings . All surrounded by trendy music, light snacks such as club sandwiches or steak salads, and plenty of beers and wine !!! It was a blast !!

A brief tell tell that I like always ! The Intercontinental Hotel or l’Inter (now the Westin Paris Véndôme) on rue Castiglione near the Jardin des Tuileries garden,  and the Le Grand Hotel Intercontinental and its wonderful Café de la Paix by the Opéra Garnier were my emplyers working for them was a blast. The HQ handling all the hotels was at the Intercontinental Paris or affectionally called L’Inter. It was at the corner of the streets 3 rue de Castiglione and rue Rivoli. The offices were again in the mezzanine area off the general public but we could walk all over, and I did as my job will take me to see the restaurants/bar personnel as well as the hotel rooms. The walks between the l’Inter and Le Grand were sublime passing by the Place Vendôme into the Place de l’Opéra !!  The Le Grand hotel is still part of the Intercontinental group at the corner of 2 rue Scribe, and 12 blvd des Capucines. Next to it was the sublime historical monument of my belle France, Café de la Paix which was ,also, attach accountingwise to me back then,
