Shopping mall by Toledo !!

This was an unique trip as we have been on the road to Toledo several times, passed by this mall and not a notch, Until we had the itch as always with my dear late wife Martine, I had to come stop by and look huh! The unique modern shopping facilities next to one of the oldest cities around, Toledo is indeed unique. Therefore, let me tell you a bit on shopping mall by Toledo !! Hope you enjoy the post as I,

We went to Toledo from our base in Las Majadas getting on Cuenca then the A40 direction Toledo/Madrid before getting off on the N400 for Toledo. Passing we saw this big shopping center and caught my wife’s eye so of course ,on the way back, we stopped for more shopping and ice cream at the shopping center or Centro Comercial Luz del Tajo (as in the river).

We spent quite a bit of time here, and tried or saw many of our usual favorites from other parts of Spain. These are Cerveceria 100 Montaditos , AntiuXixona cafeteria, Cerveceria Cruz Blanca, Decimas sports store , Game store video games, Orange telephone store, and Telepizza are our favorites here. And elsewhere too! There seems to be a nice Cinema Cine Sur ,but never try it.  Free WiFi and free parking , The supermarket Eroski is gone now replace by an Aldi, and the gas station taken over by On Way. New stores now include a Primark store, A total of 114 stores last count,

The direction to get there from Toledo road N-400 direction Cuenca, between neighborhood Santa Bárbara and the Industrial park of Toledo. The shopping center can be seen from the N 400 coming into Toledo but the entrance is on the opposite way going to Cuenca. The panels will guide you entering Calle del Rio Sagreda , there is another shopping center (parque Fusion) there but hardly anything worth stopping me think. There is a bus service from Plaza Zocodovar in Toledo line 6.2 route Zocodover-Benquerencia. Check never taken.

The new opening hours are as such : Mall Mon-Sat from 10h to 01h Sun from 11h to 01h, On Sundays and Holidays open on leisure and restaurants . The stores and supermarket open Mon-Sun 10h to 22h On Sundays and holidays they will have the same time on Saturday., Restaurants : Mon-Thu 12h to 23h Fri-Sat 12h to 01h, Sun 12h to 23h, Cinema Mon- Sat from 15h30 to 22h30, Sun from 11h30 to 12h30 and 15h30 to 22h30, Before holidays open from 17h30 to 22h30 | Holidays: 11h30 to 12h30 and from 15h30 to 22h30 Cinemas can modify their schedules. The Bowling alley Mon-Sun from 12h to 24h Fri-Sat from 12h to 01h,

Next door there is another shopping center Parque Comercial Fusion but only a VIPS cafeteria and a toy store are worth it me think.  I have read that they are in construction with new owners and organisation to be continue,,,

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
