The Bus in Madrid, part II !!

We were back to my dear Spain again !! love it !! We came by car of course and took time to see new areas and old repeat with some of them as introduction to my sons and our dog Rex ! I rented a small house in a off the beaten path country town that was just perfect ! I like to continue the saga of our new road warrior experiences even if now with less in our family, This post is on my latest road warrior tour of wonderful sublime  Spain. Therefore, let me tell you about the Bus in Madrid, part II !! There is a huge bus network runs by CRTM (community ) and the EMT (city) with 2000 buses and 200 lines. The network of bus lines covers more than 3,000 kms and has 10,000 stops. They generally start their service around 6h and finish around 23h30. Some lines have slightly more restricted schedules. Madrid has 26 night bus lines, also called Búhos (night owls). These lines operate throughout much of the city overnight. These buses run every day between approximately 23h55 and 5h55. The bus won’t stop unless you waive or raise your hand. If you want to get off at a stop, press one of the red buttons scattered around the bus with some time in advance. As a rule of thumb, bus passengers form a line to enter the vehicle one by one. Please respect it.

My bus experience here have been plenty by bus here as always tells you better above ground, see more, get it ! We took a new line even if this meant leaving our dog Rex behind and got on bus line 001 from Calle de la Princesa near Plaza de España to Cibeles, glorious once again We took it back again to our parking in Calle de la Princesa 5, however, we got off in Gran Via close for shopping galore in several stores !

Above link for the EMT Madrid Bus network the first line tells you “introduzca no. de parada” here you enter the name of the stop if you know it, destination. The other tells you “ seleccione una linea” here you enter the number of the bus line if you know it.

Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
