The Parque de Roma of Madrid !!!

It’s time to tell you again my other love, Madrid. Let’s take you on a brief tour of the parque de Roma, that I have been to, played in it, chase for my first love, and oh well many other things even introducing it to my dear late wife Martine and boys. Madrid is invigorating to the soul, active, modern, no taboos, free, open, lively, enthusiastic even in the worst economic situation, so what, its Madrid, all worth it a million times.  I will show you here a bit on the parque de Roma of Madrid  !!! The Parque Roma is another of my memorable parks and one that have been several times, It is a large arch located on the edge of Calle 30 or the beltway M30.  A recreational area created in 1980 with an area of 11 hectares or about 112,052 m2 , It is ideal for strolling through its trails delimited by large trees. It has 4 playgrounds, a circuit for the elderly, a lake, sports facilities and a climbing wall. In it ,there is a garden for the blind and a large shield or coat of arms of Madrid made with seasonal flowers stand out as spaces. A hillside space that has views of the beltway M30. A 12-meter-high climbing wall with an integrated bouldering area completes the activities. The park main entrance is at Calle Juan Esplandiu, 4, in the barrio or neighborhood of Estrella, Retiro district, If far you can take metro lines 6 or 9 stop Saínz de Baranda or the Bus on lines 30, 56, 143,and 215, However, I always walked off Calle del Dr Esquerdo into Calle del Pez Volador, there is a street vendor kiosk and across there is an entrance to the park,yeah !!!

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting.
