I grew up near the store at Calle de Alcalà 331 , 2do A ,Buzon 67, metro Quintana line 5 just out of the metro, near the Plaza Quintana, of my memorable dear Madrid, Wonderful memories that keeps me going back each time in Spain, I need to come here and look,,,,

I still emotionally remember how my dear late mother Gladys took me to Victor Calzados Calle de Alcalà 278 to buy me my first shoes in Spain! and the immense joy to have my 3 boys going there and buy them shoes as well with my dear late wife Martine, really a great feeling .Shoes for the whole family at great prices, a family place, I was bought my first Spanish shoes here at 10, then my kids,and wife, a tradition for me since 1971 when I was living in Madrid,and still to this day. Metro Carmen line 5 just one stop after my piso or apartment.  Open 10h-13h30 and 17h-20h30. We have come back again, and looking forward to be back, this is a classic store in a working class neighborhood , Victor Calzados (shoes) store tel +34 913 26 22 65, and always come here as a pilgrimage to my mom’s memory.  Over time, I too, took my now dear late wife Martine here and eventually my 3 young men sons, by now a family tradition of good shoes, good prices and very friendly family service. A place in my heart and always looking forward to be back, eventually, A real family tradition and we are glad to be part of it.

There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
