I am on a nostalgic run, and found me some older personal pictures that should be in my blog, I think of my Florida. I do not believe have mentioned it before but with my boys got them into horseback riding in Miami !!. The bit of story even if brief flashes of memory should be told and as a reminder of good old days by us. Therefore, here is my take on horseback riding in Miami !! Hope you enjoy it as I.

I do not recall exactly where the pictures were taken but doing some research from the location and name, history of the place the most like place was El Paso Ranch, located at 18351 SW 184th Street touting themselves as South Floridas premier equestrian center. Family owned and operated since 1990. A full service facility offering boarding, riding, training, and sales From MIA airport is only 29 miles (47 km) getting on the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) to left side on NW 137th Avenue to right on the Tamiami Trail (SW 8th st US 41) to left on Krome ave (SR 997) to right on SW 184th St and the ranch,

I recall my boys had a blast and did came back again here, Again, memory is fainting but I ,also, brought a young lady to horse riding here as my boss at the time in Miami was from Barranquilla Colombia and so was the young lady, friends and well Shakira rose to fame afterwards, Met her again at theTequendama Intercontinental Hotel (later switch to Crown Plaza brand) of Bogota but oh well probably she doesn’t remember of all this. Anyway memories of always in my dear Florida.

My other nostalgic horse experience was attending the Hialeah Park Race Track in its heydays, on a site covering 40 square blocks of central-east side from Palm Avenue east to East 4th Avenue, and from East 22nd Street on the south to East 32nd Street on the north in the city of Hialeah (where my twin boys were born!). home to a racetrack, casino and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Today, Hialeah Park Racing & Casino is bigger than ever. Reopened in 2009 (not been to the new complex) with a completely renovated 200-acre complex, it has quarter horse racing, multiple restaurants, and a state-of-the-art casino. Hialeah Park is the only place where an entire flock of flamingos have successfully reproduced outside its wild state, and because of that, the infield of the racetrack has been dubbed a National Audubon Sanctuary. There you go folks, I feel much better to have given the full credit it deserves to this wonderful spot in my life. I say the real Florida most folks don’t come to see and they should, As said, many wonderful memories in the state that will lingered forever as already 22 years that I left it permanently, even if back on family vacation in 2009 and briefly business trip in 2015. This area was the last touch of Americana for us and will always be remembered fondly. Again, hope you enjoy the post on the horseback riding in Miami !! as I.
And remember, happy travels, good health, and many cheers to all !!!
