I bring you to my lovely memorable sentimental Cuenca in the region of Castilla La Mancha. I have several posts on it but feel left some good pictures out of the blog ,and they should be in here.We always stayed up in the mountains of the Serrania de Cuenca (see posts) ,and the town was our home central for every shopping and eating needs, This road warrior setled very nicely here and we really have great memories of it, Therefore, here is my take on the tastes of Cuenca ,for lack of a better word, Hope you enjoy it as I

We find out about the El Mirador shopping center anchor now by Carrefour and many nice stores we buy shoes at Ulanka and video games at Game as well as fashion for the young men at Inside.Memories forever, We started coming when there was an Eroski hypermarket than taken over by Carrefour, We left our car home and took advantage of the bus network in Cuenca, very good ! (see post), We took the bus Line 2 from the old castle to the outside of town and the centro comercial El Mirador  ,Here they , also had the cheapest gas/petrol in the area ,and we stop more time to filled up, The official El Mirador : https://elmiradordecuenca.com/

While in City center or downtown we walked all over and our sons were quick to notice a games store where they load up on cheaper than back home DVD/CD/Video games on the CEX exchange store.. It was located at Calle. Aguirre, 7; sadly just learned it has closed. Sadly, will keep here for the memories of always.

There are a load of local crafts beautifully done we gathered several of these from frames to vases to fans in the local craftman of Fernando Moya, located at Calle San Pedro, 7. Official Fernando Moya: http://fernandomoyaacuarelas.com/

We could not be away from sweets and after a local recomendation we stopped by the good old Confiteria Ruiz for sweet goodies, They ,also, have a branch in the Alcampo hypermarket shopping center nearer to town. The official Confiteria Ruiz: https://www.confiteriaruiz.com/tienda/

Wonderful breads were purchase for in house and take out food from the wonderful Panaderia Granier with great breads, sweets and pizzas to go as well .It was located at Call Cervantes, 1,sadly it has closed.I will keep it here for the memories of always.

The La Licoreria offers a great selection of liquors , juices, sodas and wine from all over Spain and you can buy by the bottle or the case. We loaded up here superbe place and great prices as it is a warehouse type store where boxes are stacked up ! And in our beloved Cuenca , we love it as base on a house in the mountains outside the town, we came regularly to shop here and very nice selection and nice bakeries too in the shopping center around Auchan.
