My memorable shopping in Middlesex county NJ !!!

Now let me turn to my first encounter with the USA at my first American home in Middlesex county, State of New Jersey aka the Garden State. I have several posts of my early experience in NJ in my blog so will concentrate on the new old pictures found in my vault that should be in my blog, After all, as said, this blog is my life’s history, really, Therefore, let me tell you about my memorable shopping in Middlesex county NJ !!!, Hope you enjoy it as I.

Middlesex County is part of the New York metropolitan area, and its county seat is New Brunswick (where i became US Citizen in 1980) . The center of population of the state of New Jersey is located in Middlesex County, in East Brunswick Township, just east of the New Jersey Turnpike.

The town of Woodbridge Township has a wonderful Woodbridge Center, a major two-level shopping mall located at the intersection of U.S. Route 1 and U.S. Route 9. This was our home turf when shopping and many memories with my parents, I came here for many things but especially for the toys at Toys’R Us, Now close but here for the memories of always,

The Hertz car rental I took, at the Newark Liberty Internatinal airport is only about a 30 minute car ride to my old town of Perth Amboy which rented to get there,  And of course Perth Amboy, was first! On the mouth of the Raritan river  and goes into the Raritan Bay later joining the Arthur Kill (kill=bay ,old Dutch as first settlers of the area), strait separating  Staten Island NY from the coast of New jersey.  Perth Amboy is known as the “City by the Bay,” referring to Raritan Bay. And we did our weekly grocery shopping at Pathmark at 101 New Brunswick Ave , Now is trying to re organise but here for the memories of always,

The town of Edison Township, brings most vivid memories coming to the fame Menlo Park Mall , a two level shopping mall right next to the road US 1, My parents love it so I came along and nice memories of always , Here we shop at Target 100 Parsonage Rd and Walmart 2220 State Route 27, Memories forever and glad to have pictures to show in my blog,

There you go folks, a walk of nostalgia from my very earlier life and later visits to my life in the USA. There , my parents born in Cuba met and later on I was born there too. 100% guanche (annexed Tenerife to Spain on April 10 ,1496). I left Cuba as many have to Madrid, Spain where I lived for 4 years. Then, move to Perth Amboy ,New Jersey USA (living there 13 yrs) ; where I completed high school, became a US Citizen, learned to drive a car, and learned English. Afterward, went to the university in Florida, ERAU, and upon graduation decided to moved there to Ormond by the Sea, near Daytona Beach, finally moving North Miami, then Hialeah, then another moved to Silver Lakes division in Miramar, Broward county, Florida; in Florida I lived a total of 18 years. Finally , moved to France in 2003 ,Versailles call me for its royalty, and working in Paris was great. It was time to seek frontiers again and moved to Brech near Auray, Morbihan in Brittany , and later move to not too far Pluvigner. Total so far in France has been 20 years, and counting. Moving average a home every 5.5 years hopefully this will be my last. Cheers All rights reserved.
