More than a statement perhaps by Hemingway, this even after the hardship of a dictatorship of 52 years is still visible today everywhere you look. Havana, the bulkward of the West Indies ,the key to the Gulf of Mexico, by royal decree. Never ceases to impress the visitor and brings nostalgia to those lucky enough to have lived there.
